Put people first
The Community
We celebrate the runner in everyone, and find every moment along a runner's journey, from finding the right running shoe to crossing the first finish line, meaningful and memorable. We believe in the power of connectedness, which is what makes us fanatical about supporting our local communities, bringing people together, and championing the power of running.

Our History
Our roots run deep in running, community, and local ownership. In 1976, Sally Edwards and Elizabeth Jansen opened the first Fleet Feet in a well-worn and well-loved Victorian house on J Street in Sacramento. Their commitment to providing a place where every runner of every level could find inspiration, motivation, and know-how created the brand DNA that exists today in every Fleet Feet across the country. Over the years, this DNA evolved in powerful ways thanks to strong leadership, indomitable resolve, and a commitment to serve. Here is our story.
